Marimar Estate Acero Chardonnay is an unoaked white wine from the Don Miguel Vineyard in the Russian River Valley appellation of Sonoma County, California. "Acero" is Spanish for "steel," a nod to the stainless steel fermentation that defines this wine's bright, fruit-forward character. The estate was founded by Marimar Torres, sister of renowned winemaker Miguel Torres, who has been crafting premium Chardonnay and Pinot Noir in California since the mid-1980s across approximately 33 hectares of estate vineyards.

This wine opens with expansive aromas of green apple, lemon zest, and subtle floral notes of jasmine, accented by a hint of nutmeg spice. On the palate it is creamy and smooth with vivid acidity and refreshing minerality reminiscent of wet stones. Tropical fruit notes of mango and papaya round out the mid-palate, all kept in elegant balance without any oak influence.

Acero Chardonnay pairs beautifully with tapas, seafood, shellfish, grilled fish, light pasta dishes, and fresh cheeses. It is estate grown and estate bottled, sold as a 12-bottle case (12 x 750 ml).
