Tolaini Valdisanti is a prestigious Super Tuscan red wine from the Tenuta San Giovanni estate in Tuscany, Italy, classified as Indicazione Geografica Tipica (IGT). The blend is composed of equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc, vinified and aged for 16 months in French oak barriques, with an additional 6 months resting on fine lees to develop complexity and depth.

On the nose, the wine presents youthful aromas of clove, vanilla, restrained cherry, milk chocolate, and balsamic notes intertwined with subtle French oak spice. On the palate, the attack is soft and velvety with dense, well-integrated tannins, a savory character, a full body, and crisp, refreshing acidity that carries through to an embracing, long, and consistent finish. Dark berry fruit, cassis, black currant, cedar, licorice, and graphite nuances add layers of complexity throughout.

Critically acclaimed across multiple publications, the 2021 vintage earned 95 points from James Suckling, 94 points from Wine Advocate, 94 points from Wine Spectator, and 93 points from Vinous Media.
