Primus Carménère is a red wine from the Apalta subregion of the Colchagua Valley in Chile, produced by Alto de Casablanca S.A. and imported by González Byass. The grapes come from vines with a southern exposure planted along the Tinguiririca River's old terraces, a site known for its distinctive soils that contribute complexity and character to the wine.
Sustainable agriculture practices are used throughout the vineyard. The resulting wine is an elegant Carménère with hints of black pepper, smooth tannins, and a long finish. Aromas include ripe blueberry, blackberry, and plum with notes of roasted herbs, cedar, and cocoa.
This wine is 14% alcohol by volume and contains sulphites. Sold as a 750ML bottle.
