Wine by Joe Pinot Noir is an approachable, handcrafted Oregon red wine produced and bottled by Wine by Joe in Dundee, Oregon. Founded by winemaker and proprietor Joe Dobbes in 2002, the winery has grown into one of Oregon's largest wine producers, owning 214 acres of vineyard in the acclaimed Willamette Valley appellation — consistently ranked among the finest Pinot Noir regions in the world.
This medium-bodied Pinot Noir showcases the bright fruit and complexity for which Oregon has become internationally renowned. Expect aromas and flavors of raspberry, Bing cherry, plum, boysenberry, cranberry, and earthen notes with hints of cedar. The palate is silky with restrained, soft tannins, moderate acidity, and a medium-long finish. A touch of new oak (approximately 10%) adds subtle structure without overshadowing the fruit-forward character. Alcohol by volume is 13.5%.
This case format contains 12 bottles of 750ML each, making it ideal for entertaining or stocking a cellar. Pairs well with barbecue chicken, turkey, salmon and rich seafood, lighter cuts of beef, veal, pork chops, and sheep's milk cheeses such as gruyère, comté, emmenthal, gouda, and taleggio. Contains sulfites.
