Neyers Carneros District Chardonnay is a California white wine crafted by Neyers Vineyards from grapes grown in the cool, fog-influenced Carneros District on the Sonoma County side of San Pablo Bay. Grapes are sourced from select family-farmed vineyards including those of the Sangiacomo and Yamakawa families, all harvested by hand into small half-ton bins and carefully field-sorted before whole-cluster pressing.

Winemaker Tadeo Borchardt employs a traditional, minimalist approach rooted in French winemaking philosophy. The pressed juice is fermented naturally in 60-gallon French-oak barrels using native wild yeasts, with malo-lactic fermentation occurring spontaneously. The wine is then aged on the lees in 30% new French oak with no stirring, and is bottled without fining or filtration.

This full-bodied Chardonnay offers vivid aromas of roasted peanuts, butterscotch, toasted oak, and honeysuckle, leading to rich flavors of ultraripe golden apple, marzipan, buttered toast, apricots, and spiced pears. The palate is opulent and juicy with a succulent texture and integrated vanilla, balanced by a bright thread of acidity that keeps the wine fresh and focused through a long, lingering finish. The wine has earned 93 points from Wine Enthusiast, 92 points from James Suckling, and 90 points from Wine Spectator. Sold as a case of 12 x 750ml bottles.
