Sierra Cantabria Rioja Reserva is a celebrated Spanish red wine from the Rioja DOCa appellation, crafted by Bodegas Sierra Cantabria from 100% estate-grown Tempranillo grapes sourced from San Vicente de la Sonsierra, one of the most sought-after terroirs in Rioja Alta.

The wine presents a bright ruby red color with intense, complex aromas of ripe blackberries, spicy and toasted notes that develop into an elegant bouquet. On the palate it is tasty, juicy, and well-defined, with smooth texture, excellent balance, and a long refined finish. Extended oak aging lends characteristic notes of black cherry, mountain herb, smoke, vanilla, and toast supported by light, sculpted tannins.

Bodegas Sierra Cantabria was founded in 1957 by Guillermo Eguren, whose family had grown grapes in Rioja since the 1870s. Today, the fourth generation of the Eguren family directs all aspects of winemaking, with Marcos Eguren as winemaker and director. All grapes are estate-grown, reflecting the family's identity as viticulturists first. The wine has earned 92 points from James Suckling and 91 points from Wine Spectator.
