Terrazas de los Andes Reserva Malbec is a high-altitude Argentine red wine from Mendoza, crafted from a blend of over 100 vineyard plots sourced from the Uco Valley and the elevated terroirs of Las Compuertas in Luján de Cuyo. The vineyards, which are transitioning to organic farming, sit at approximately 1,070 meters elevation at the foothills of the Andes, with vines ranging from 20 to 80 years of age.

On the nose, this wine is fresh and intensely fruity, offering aromas of blackberry, plum, and strawberry alongside characteristic violet and cold-climate mountain spice notes. On the palate it is vibrant and layered, with a fresh, polished mouthfeel and excellent tension and length. The wine is full-bodied with silky tannins and a dry finish. Alcohol content is 13.9%, and it is best served at 14°C (57°F) with an aging potential of up to 8 years.

This versatile, food-friendly Malbec pairs well with beef, pork, and lamb—grilled or stewed—as well as pasta with tomato-based sauces and desserts featuring chocolate, red fruits, or nuts. The 2021 vintage earned 94 points from James Suckling and 92 points from Wine Spectator.
