This wine opens with aromas of lavender and boysenberry, giving way to flavors of dark cherry, pomegranate, and vanilla. It offers a silky mouthfeel with subtle hints of oak from barrel aging in French and American oak barrels (20% new, 80% used) for approximately 8 months. The wine carries 14.3% alcohol by volume and a titratable acidity of 0.56 g/100ml.

Fruit is sourced primarily from the MacMurray Ranch Vineyard (66%), along with Two Rock Vineyard (11%), Del Rio Vineyard (9%), and Laguna Ranch (8%), with a touch from the Carneros AVA. Multiple Pinot Noir clones are employed, including 115, 114, 23, 667, 777, Swan, and Calera, contributing complexity and depth. The wine has earned strong critical acclaim including a Platinum Award at the Sommelier Challenge International Wine & Spirits Competition and scores of 90+ points from multiple critics.
