Djarum Black Emerald is a menthol-infused filtered clove cigar made in Indonesia, produced by one of the world's most recognized kretek (clove cigarette and cigar) manufacturers since 1951. The name "kretek" comes from the crackling sound the cloves make when smoked.

Each cigar features a mild strength profile with a smooth, easygoing character defined by the blend of tobacco and cloves with cool menthol notes. The Emerald variety distinguishes itself with its menthol flavor within the Black line. The cigars are machine made with a homogenized wrapper and measure 2 1/2 x 20 ring gauge, making them a compact, convenient filtered format ideal for on-the-go use.
