Fontodi Vigna del Sorbo Chianti Classico Gran Selezione DOCG is a prestigious single-vineyard wine from the heart of Tuscany's Chianti Classico zone in Panzano. Made from 100% Sangiovese grapes grown on an eight-hectare vineyard with some of the oldest plantings now over 50 years old, this wine represents one of the finest expressions of the Gran Selezione classification.

First produced in 1985 as a Riserva, Vigna del Sorbo was elevated to Gran Selezione with the introduction of the category in 2014. The wine offers singular intensity with notes of black fruit, grilled rosemary, pressed rose, and crushed limestone. On the palate, it delivers lush fruits and fine-grained tannins alongside balsamic herbs, dusty earth, crushed violet petals, peppery spices, and wild berries. Recent vintages have earned critical acclaim, including 96 points from Wine Spectator for the 2020 vintage. The wine is 15% ABV and 750ML.
