Ryan Patrick Rock Island Red is a bold, approachable Washington State red blend from Columbia Valley, crafted by winemaker Kendall Mix. Named after Rock Island Dam—the first dam to span the Columbia River—this wine reflects the distinctive terroir of Washington's Wahluke Slope and Columbia Valley vineyards, where cooler climates and elevated vineyard sites at 1,200–1,400 feet produce grapes with remarkable depth and character.

The blend features Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah, sustainably farmed and sourced from renowned vineyards including Sagemoor Farms, Red Heaven, King Fuji, and Rosebud. Grapes are cold-soaked before fermentation in stainless steel with twice-daily pump-overs to extract color and tannin. The wine is then aged 80% in stainless steel and 20% in American oak barrels, preserving fresh fruit while adding subtle structure. Certified gluten free and vegan.

On the nose, expect aromas of black cherry, plum, vanilla, oak, and chocolate, with cocoa, earthy spice, and lavender.
