Avalon Retro Cabernet Sauvignon is a fruit-forward red wine sourced from Lodi, California, located approximately 100 miles east of San Francisco. Lodi's classic Mediterranean climate — warm days and cool evenings — makes it an ideal growing region for Cabernet Sauvignon, allowing the grapes to develop full, ripe flavor while retaining natural acidity and balance.

The wine is aged for a minimum of 8 months in French and American oak barrels, yielding a delightful, well-rounded profile with notes of complex dark berry fruit, aromatic anise, spice, and vanilla, balanced with toasty oak. On the palate it delivers cherry-cola and blackberry flavors on a lightly tannic texture, with light salt and pepper accents.
