Rodney Strong Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is a powerful, full-bodied red wine from the hillsides of Alexander Valley in Sonoma, California. This elegant wine displays a deep, dark ruby color with vibrant aromas of lush red plum, dark berries, cassis, and milk chocolate, complemented by fresh herb notes and hints of dried fig. The palate features supple textures with chewy tannins balanced by soft acidity, finishing very long and smooth.

Aged for 18 months in French oak barrels (50% new), this wine showcases the classic Alexander Valley terroir. The blend is predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon (90%) with small additions of Merlot (5%) and Malbec (5%), creating a wine with both power and refinement. The careful barrel aging has softened the bold tannins just enough to make it approachable now while maintaining excellent aging potential of 5-7 years.
