K Vintners The Hidden Syrah is a critically acclaimed, full-bodied Syrah sourced from the Northridge Vineyard on Washington's Wahluke Slope AVA. Produced by winemaker Charles Smith under the K Vintners label, this wine is renowned for its power, concentration, and exceptional aging potential.

The Northridge Vineyard sits on a south-facing gravel slope in the foothills of the Saddle Mountain range, with thin ancient soils over a base of caliche and basalt. These distinctive terroir conditions yield a wine of remarkable depth, displaying aromas of black cherry, wild sage, black plum, fresh mushroom, and crushed rock, with flavors of black raspberry, cigar wrapper, black pepper, wet earth, leather, and dried rose. The wine is full-bodied with fine, taut tannins and excellent balance. Best enjoyed after a minimum of 2–3 years of bottle age, with potential to cellar 10 or more years.

The Hidden Syrah has earned extraordinary critical recognition, including 96+ points from Jeb Dunnuck, 98 points from James Suckling (2017 vintage), and scores of 99–97 points from Wine Advocate for older vintages, making it one of the most celebrated Syrahs produced in Washington State.
