Sonoma-Cutrer The Cutrer Chardonnay is a single-vineyard white wine sourced from The Cutrer Vineyard in the heart of California's Russian River Valley appellation. The vineyard sits on historic seabed soil that retains daytime heat and radiates it to closely-spaced vines, featuring diverse microclimates, varied rootstocks, and multiple clones that yield distinct flavor profiles across different blocks.

This 100% Chardonnay is hand-harvested at night into shallow bins, then chilled to preserve fresh flavors and acidity. Grapes undergo whole-cluster pressing with natural juice settling before French oak barrel fermentation and 100% malolactic fermentation. The result is an opulent wine with aromas of caramelized nuts, caramel, pie crust, ripe pear, praline, and brown sugar, with palate flavors of baked apple, toasted oak, roasted nuts, and baking spice. The wine is intense and velvety with bright acidity and a creamy, long finish.

Technical details: 13.8% ABV, total acidity 6.3 g/L, pH 3.5, residual sugar 0.8 g/L. Pairs well with prawns, risotto, spring vegetables, and Thai coconut shrimp curry. Sold as a case of 6 bottles, 750 mL each.
