E&J VS Brandy is a California brandy produced by E&J Distillers, a brand of E&J Gallo Winery, blended and bottled in Modesto, California. First introduced in 1975, it has become America's most preferred brandy and carries the "VS" (Very Special) designation, indicating a minimum aging of two years in American oak barrels.

The distinctive character of E&J VS comes from the vertical blending of brandies of different ages drawn from the finest white oak barrels. This careful, time-consuming aging and blending process develops the full, natural flavor the brand is known for.
