Télégramme is the young-vine cuvée from Domaine du Vieux Télégraphe, one of the most prestigious estates in Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Crafted from vines averaging 40 years of age in the renowned La Crau vineyard, this wine is made for early enjoyment while maintaining the estate's signature elegance and quality.

The blend consists of 80% Grenache, 10% Syrah, 6% Mourvèdre, and 4% Cinsault. Grapes are hand-picked with double sorting at the vine and a third sorting at the winery before destemming and 25-30 days of traditional temperature-controlled fermentation. The wine is then aged for 15-16 months in French oak foudres (30-60 hectoliters) and bottled without filtration or fining.

Tasting notes reveal a medium to full-bodied wine with vibrant red fruit character featuring black raspberries, juicy cherries, strawberries, bay leaves, wild herbs, pepper, flowers, and garrigue. The palate offers fine tannins, bright acidity, silky smooth textures, and a fresh, harmonious finish with notes of spice and balsamic nuances. This elegant, Grenache-dominated Châteauneuf-du-Pape shows beautiful freshness and suppleness.

Serve at 60°F (15.5°C). Pairs wonderfully with roasted meats, game, duck, barbecue, cassoulet, sausages, mushroom pasta, hearty fish like tuna, and Asian cuisine. While enjoyable upon release, the wine can age for up to a decade. Decant young vintages for 1-3 hours to enhance aromatics.
