Cloudy Bay Pinot Noir is a benchmark red wine from Marlborough, New Zealand, crafted by one of the region's most celebrated estates. The wine is sourced from cool clay soils and rolling, north-facing slopes of Marlborough's Southern Valleys, where aged alluvial gravels and dense clay subsoils yield exceptional Pinot Noir grapes from key blocks including the Mustang, Delta, and Barracks vineyards.

Open and expressive on the nose, the wine offers notes of wild hedgerow fruits, crushed rose petals, boysenberry, cherry, and rosehip. On the palate, silky tannins and a pure dart of acidity frame a core of summer berries, soft spices, and a touch of biscuity vanilla, finishing long and elegantly. The wine is vinified using de-stemmed and whole-bunch grapes fermented with wild yeast in open-top fermenters, then matured in French oak for 11 months, producing a fine-boned and complex expression of Marlborough terroir.

Versatile and food-friendly, it pairs well with lighter game meats such as duck and rabbit, lamb, roasted vegetables, and chargrilled dishes. Best served at 12–15°C (54–59°F). The wine has cellaring potential of 5–10 years. Alcohol: 13.5%.
