Kirkland Signature Ibuprofen 200mg is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) that provides temporary relief from minor aches and pains associated with the common cold, headache, toothache, muscular aches, backache, minor pain of arthritis, and menstrual cramps. It also temporarily reduces fever. This value pack contains 1,000 film-coated tablets (2 bottles of 500 tablets each) and compares to the active ingredient in Advil.

Each tablet contains 200mg of ibuprofen USP as the active ingredient. Inactive ingredients include anhydrous lactose, carnauba wax, colloidal silicon dioxide, hydroxypropyl methylcellulose, iron oxide, magnesium stearate, microcrystalline cellulose, polydextrose, polyethylene glycol, povidone, sodium lauryl sulfate, sodium starch glycolate, starch, and titanium dioxide.

Adults should take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours while symptoms occur. If pain or fever does not respond to 1 tablet, 2 tablets may be used, but do not exceed 6 tablets in 24 hours unless directed by a doctor. The smallest effective dose should be used and should not be taken longer than 10 days unless directed by a doctor. Take with food or milk if stomach upset occurs. Not recommended for children under 12 unless directed by a doctor.

Important warnings include allergy alert for those allergic to aspirin or other NSAIDs, stomach bleeding warning especially for those age 60 or older or with history of ulcers or bleeding problems, and heart attack and stroke warning as NSAIDs may increase these risks. Do not use if you have ever had an allergic reaction to ibuprofen or any other pain reliever, or right before or after heart surgery. Pregnant women should ask a health professional before use, especially during the last 3 months of pregnancy. Stop use and seek medical help if you experience signs of stomach bleeding, worsening symptoms, or allergic reactions including hives, facial swelling, or difficulty breathing.
