Le Grand Noir Chardonnay 2022 is a premium white wine blend of 85% Chardonnay and 15% Viognier sourced from the ancient Languedoc wine region in southwest France. This IGP Vin Pays d'Oc wine brings together grapes from diverse vineyards across the region, cultivated by a commune of over 1000 family growers who have been producing wine since Roman times.

The wine showcases the apple, melon and pineapple flavors characteristic of Chardonnay, complemented by a touch of mango, ginger, and floral notes from the Viognier. 30% of the Chardonnay was fermented and aged in French and American oak barrels, adding subtle hints of vanilla, buttercream, and rounded fruit flavors to the crisp, tart wine. The unoaked portion maintains bright acidity and freshness.

On the palate, expect lemon, tangerine, green apple, dried pineapple, apricot, lime, and tropical fruit flavors with an interesting spice edge. The wine has balanced acidity that allows the flavors to unfold fully. With 13% alcohol content, this wine pairs beautifully with grilled fish, chicken, shellfish, and all white meat dishes, or can be enjoyed on its own.
