On the nose, expect aromas of ripe boysenberry, pomegranate, black licorice, dried herbs, and notes of spiced vanilla cream. On the palate, blueberry and blackberry lead into round, plush notes of baked cobbler, followed by a concentrated finish of blackberry jam, clove, tobacco leaf, and grippy tannins. The wine is full-bodied at 13.5% ABV with a semi-dry character that finishes with a pleasant hint of spice.
