Rodney Strong Symmetry is a flagship Red Meritage blend from Sonoma County, California, crafted at the winery's dedicated Artisan Cellar small-lot winemaking facility. This 3-liter format offers the same exceptional wine in a larger bottle ideal for entertaining and cellaring.

The wine greets the nose with an opulent bouquet of ripe dark plums, blackberries, vanilla, dusty oak, and sweet spices. On the palate, silky layers of dark fruits, cassis, baking spices, and accents of dark chocolate and mocha unfold with a rich, supple mouthfeel. Refined tannins lead to a powerful yet elegant, long lingering finish. The wine is well-suited for pairing with beef stew, grilled pork tenderloin, lamb, or roasted vegetables, and has excellent cellaring potential.

The Symmetry blend is typically composed of approximately 80% Cabernet Sauvignon with Merlot, Malbec, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc, aged 24 months in French oak barrels with 75% new oak. Alcohol is approximately 14.5%. Winemaker Greg Morthole employs artisan techniques including cluster pre-sorting, berry sorting, and extended maceration to produce this wine.
