Zacapa XO is a premium Guatemalan rum masterfully crafted using the first press of sugar cane and aged 2,300 meters above sea level to slow the aging process, developing deep layers of aromas and flavors. This exclusive blend contains rums aged between 10 and 25 years through the dynamic "Sistema Solera" process, where older and younger rums are blended as they age in a sequence of barrels that previously held robust American whiskies, delicate sherries, fine Pedro Ximénez wines, and finished in French oak casks which previously aged Cognac.

The nose offers a balance of mature toasted oak, burnt caramel, dry roasted nuts, marzipan, and orange peel with a delicate fruit deep note at the end. On the palate, the rum presents a harmonious balance of sweetness, fruit, and spice with flavors of dark cherry, chocolate, date, and prune complemented by sweet oak spices of clove, vanilla, and cinnamon. The finish features lighter notes of dried mango, raspberry, and ginger. 80 proof, 750 mL bottle.
