Henriot Brut Rosé Champagne is a distinguished non-vintage sparkling wine produced by the venerable Champagne house of Henriot, founded in Reims, France in 1808. Crafted from a blend of 50% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay, and 10% Pinot Meunier, this elegant rosé achieves its beautiful coral-pink hue through the addition of 8–10% red Pinot Noir wine sourced from a premier parcel in the heart of Aÿ. The wine is bottled at 12% ABV with a dosage of 9 g/l, representing the classic Brut style.
On the nose, the wine delivers stone fruits, crystallized dried fruits, and a toasty, spicy complexity with notes of rye bread, chalky mineral tones, and a hint of orange peel. The palate is smooth and refined, with lush fruit, crisp acidity, and fine bubbles, leading to a long and balanced finish with remarkable elegance. Wine Spectator notes flavors of roasted almond, toasted brioche, baked apricot, cherry fruit, blood orange peel, and pickled ginger, recommending it through 2029.
This cuvée has earned outstanding critical recognition: 94 points from The Champagne Guide, 93 points each from Bettane & Desseauve (2025) and The Tasting Panel, and 92 points from both Wine Spectator and James Suckling. Master of Wine Essi Avellan describes the style as "classy" and "seriously underrated," praising its silky mellowness and luxurious feel from prolonged yeast aging.
