Nouvelle Legende Flame Retardant Oven Mitts, 2-Pack

Nouvelle Legende Flame Retardant Quilted Oven Mitts are commercial-grade kitchen mitts designed to replace the unsafe practice of wrapping towels or cloths around hot cookware handles. Each mitt is treated with a fire-resistant finish that acts as a flame retardant upon contact with open stove burner flames, significantly reducing the risk of accidental fires while cooking.

At 17 inches in length, these oversized mitts cover most of the forearm, shielding against burns from oven doors, oven interiors, grates, and other hot surfaces encountered during cooking. The quilted 100% cotton construction provides excellent insulation, and the mitts have been independently lab-tested by a third-party laboratory to withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit. Suitable for kitchen cooking, BBQ grilling, campfire use, and other high-heat tasks. Each package includes two mitts (model NL-FRM-2), available in black.

These mitts must not be used when wet. Water transmits heat and reduces flame insulation. Do not machine wash; clean with a damp cloth only, as washing will weaken the fire-resistant treatment.
