Giorgio Pelissero Barbaresco DOCG Nubiola is a 100% Nebbiolo wine from the Piedmont region of Italy. The grapes are sourced from six small parcels scattered across the villages of Treiso, Barbaresco, and Neive, with vines planted between 1980 and 2004 at a density of 5,000 plants per hectare. The name "Nubiola" references the historical 1330 agricultural treaty "De Ruralium Commodorum" by Pier Dè Crescenzi, which described a prized black grape "wonderfully vinous and adapted for wine making" — now known as Nebbiolo.

The wine is fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with automatic lees stirring, then aged in a combination of small barriques and large 50-hectoliter oak casks for approximately 22 months, followed by a minimum of 12 months of bottle aging before release. It presents an intense ruby red color with fruity and floral notes ranging from ripe red fruit to officinal herbs, with a soft, velvety palate and a slightly dry, astringent finish characteristic of Nebbiolo.
