Alpen Cellars Chardonnay is a white wine produced by the family-owned Alpen Cellars winery, established in 1984 in Trinity Center, California. The winery is situated in a picturesque mountain valley in the rugged Trinity Lake region of Trinity County, where high elevation and a favorable microclimate create ideal conditions for growing early-maturing vinifera grapes.

This Chardonnay features lemony aromas with strong green apple and ripe pear notes, followed by rich vanilla and pear flavors on the palate. It is a classic-style Chardonnay that pairs well with pork, veal, poultry, pasta, fish, and shellfish, as well as mild, buttery, or creamy dishes. It also complements the sweetness of butternut squash, sweet potatoes, and caramelized foods. Winemaker Keith Groves crafts all wines from grapes grown in the winery's own vineyard or from other vineyards in Trinity County. 750ML bottle.
