Guado al Tasso Vermentino is a 100% Vermentino white wine produced by the prestigious Marchesi Antinori family at their Tenuta Guado al Tasso estate in the Bolgheri DOC appellation on the Tuscan coast of Maremma, Italy. The estate sits on a magnificent plain roughly 60 miles southwest of Florence, nestled in the Bolgheri amphitheater where surrounding hills embrace the sea, creating a mild and temperate microclimate ideal for healthy vine growth and proper grape ripening.

The wine is straw yellow in color with greenish highlights, offering excellent aromatic intensity with notes of peach, honeysuckle, citrus fruit, white flower blossoms, sage, and tropical fruit. Fermented without oak, it retains vibrant freshness and pronounced mineral notes that reflect the estate's coastal terroir. On the palate it is crisp and juicy with a mouthwatering texture and a chalky mineral finish. Grapes are harvested in stages to include both lively slightly underripe fruit and fully ripe portions, followed by a pre-maceration cold-soak fermentation. Rated 89 points by Wine Spectator, the wine drinks well now through 2028. ABV 13%. Sold as a case of 6 x 750ml bottles.
