Louis Latour Château Corton Grancey Grand Cru is a benchmark red Burgundy from Maison Louis Latour, one of the most prestigious négociant houses in the Côte de Beaune. This Grand Cru wine is a blend sourced from five premier lieux-dits on the legendary Corton hillside: Perrières, Grèves, Bressandes, Clos du Roi, and Chaumes. The Château Corton Grancey itself was acquired by the Latour family in 1891, with "Grancey" referencing the last noble family to own the estate before that purchase.

Produced from approximately 40-year-old Pinot Noir vines rooted in marl and limestone soils, the wine undergoes hand-harvesting and traditional open-vat fermentation. It is then aged 10 to 12 months in French oak barrels — 35% new oak, medium toasted by the Louis Latour cooperage — imparting structure and subtle spice while preserving the terroir's character. The result is a wine of both depth and elegance, with aromas and flavors of ripe red fruit, savory spice, and earthy complexity typical of Corton Grand Cru.
