Laphroaig Quarter Cask is an Islay single malt Scotch whisky bottled at 48% ABV. It undergoes double maturation, first resting in standard ex-bourbon barrels before being transferred to smaller quarter casks for greater contact with the American oak wood, resulting in an intensified flavor profile.

The nose offers burning embers of peat with toffee, caramel, coconut, and banana aromas drawn from the vanilla and tannin character of the American oak. On the palate, it is bold and overwhelmingly smoky with undercurrents of honey and fleeting red fruit, plus a distinctive iodine note. The finish is long, alternating between sweetness and smoke with a tannic, drying character. Rated 88 points by Wine Enthusiast and 93 points by the Beverage Testing Institute.
