Grow your own citrus at home with Costco's Dwarf Citrus Trees, available in assorted varieties in a #5 container (approximately 3.2 gallons). Common varieties include Meyer Lemon, Bearss Lime, Mandarin, Kumquat, Navel Orange, and Grapefruit — selection varies by location and season. These grafted dwarf trees are sized for container growing or planting directly in the ground in frost-free climates, and typically arrive as established plants 2–4 feet tall.

Dwarf citrus trees are self-fertile, meaning a single tree will produce fruit without a pollinator partner. Most varieties begin bearing fruit within 1–3 years of planting. Trees thrive with at least 6–8 hours of direct sunlight daily and prefer well-draining soil kept consistently moist but never waterlogged. They grow well both outdoors in USDA zones 9–11 and indoors or on patios in colder climates when brought inside during frost. Fertilize regularly during the growing season with a citrus-specific fertilizer to encourage healthy foliage and fruiting. Repot as needed into a container 1.5–2 times the diameter of the nursery pot to allow continued root development.
