Columbia Winery Merlot is a red wine produced in the Columbia Valley of Washington State. Founded in 1962, Columbia Winery is one of Washington's oldest wineries, established by a group of ten friends including six University of Washington professors.

This Merlot opens with a dark color and a distinct purple edge, offering aromas of cherry, plum, and a hint of violet alongside pronounced notes of toasty oak, vanilla, and mocha. It is rich and plush on the palate with firm tannins and a lingering finish. More substantial than many fruit-forward Merlots, Columbia's style surrounds plum flavors with a layer of soft tannins that give the wine the capacity to age gracefully in the bottle.

The 2019 vintage received a Gold Medal from the San Diego International Wine Competition, and the 2018 vintage earned Gold from the Critics Challenge Wine Competition.
