Fresh Wild Whole Pacific Halibut (Hippoglossus stenolepis) is a premium wild-caught fish sourced from the cold, clear waters of the Pacific Ocean, including the Gulf of Alaska and Pacific Northwest coast. Sold whole by the pound, this seasonal fish is available from spring through late fall, offering peak freshness straight from the water.
Pacific halibut is prized for its mild, slightly sweet flavor and firm, snow-white flesh that flakes beautifully when cooked. The whole fish format is ideal for roasting, grilling, baking, steaming, or pan-searing, and can be filleted at home or by a fishmonger to yield thick, meaty portions. Pacific halibut is sustainably managed by established fisheries science programs and is considered one of the most responsibly harvested wild fish available in North America.
