Castello di Bolgheri Varvàra is a Super Tuscan red blend from the prestigious Bolgheri DOC in Tuscany, Italy. Produced by the historic Castello di Bolgheri estate, situated between the world-famous Ornellaia and Sassicaia wineries, this wine offers remarkable quality at an accessible price point compared to its iconic neighbors.

The Varvàra blend features Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiraz/Syrah, and Petit Verdot grapes, with 14% alcohol content. The wine presents an intense, spicy nose with aromas of black berry fruits, leather, and violet. On the palate, velvety tannins support notes of blackberry jam, tobacco, and star anise. It remains in contact with skins for 25 to 30 days before aging for 20 months in a castle cellar dating back to the late 1700s.
