The La Crosse Technology C84428 is a 5-in-1 professional wireless weather station that monitors indoor and outdoor conditions in real time. It includes three wireless sensors — a temperature and humidity sensor (LTV-TH2), a wind speed sensor (LTV-W1), and a rain sensor (LTV-R2) — giving you a comprehensive view of your backyard weather from a single display.

The large color display with brushed metal finish shows indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity, feels-like temperature, dew point, wind speed (current and peak), rainfall totals, dynamic weather forecast icons, and full date and time. Outdoor trend indicators and daily high/low records with timestamps are also displayed. The display offers five brightness settings and can be wall-mounted or used freestanding with the adjustable kickstand.

The station connects to 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and works with the free La Crosse View app for iOS and Android, enabling remote monitoring from anywhere, detailed historical graphs, customizable push notifications, and data sharing. When connected, the station gains additional forecast capabilities including 8-hour precipitation chance, forecasted high/low, and prevailing wind direction. The system also supports additional sensors for expanded monitoring, with add-on data accessible through the app.

The display is powered via the included 5V power cord (AA battery backup optional). Outdoor sensors require AA or C alkaline batteries (not included). The outdoor temperature sensor has a range of -40°F to 140°F and transmits up to 400 feet in open air at 915 MHz. Wind speed is measurable up to 111 mph.
