The fruit is sourced from four distinct sub-regions — Taylor Pass, Lower Wairau, Hawkesbury, and Awatere — chosen specifically to avoid the main Wairau Valley floor sites and capture a broader range of flavour complexity. Grapes are harvested at peak ripeness and fermented in stainless steel tanks using aromatic yeasts at cool temperatures to preserve the wine's expressive aromatics, then sealed under screwcap for optimal freshness.

The wine leads with fragrant notes of passionfruit, ruby red grapefruit, and white peach, followed by hints of lemongrass and thyme. On the palate it is dry and concentrated, with citrusy lime zest, passionfruit, and white peach flavours underpinned by a lick of wet stones and bright acidity, finishing long and mouth-watering. ABV is 13.5%.
