Purple Hands West Wind Vineyard Pinot Noir, Ribbon Ridge Oregon 750ML

Purple Hands West Wind Vineyard Pinot Noir is a single-vineyard Pinot Noir sourced from the estate's organically farmed West Wind Vineyard in the Ribbon Ridge AVA of Oregon's Willamette Valley. The vineyard sits on Willakenzie marine sediment soils at elevations of 400–600 feet on the middle of Ribbon Ridge, with 14 total acres planted entirely to Pinot Noir beginning in 2017. The first commercial vintage was released from the 2021 harvest.

This wine displays powerful aromatics of boysenberry sorbet, violets, and bittersweet dark chocolate with earthy, soil-driven complexity. On the palate, bright acidity drives flavors of black raspberry, cashew, thyme, and brown sugar. The 2022 vintage was aged in 30% new French oak for 10 months, resulting in a medium-bodied, structured wine with excellent aging potential. It is well suited to accompany beef, lamb, and rich poultry dishes.
