Santa Cristina Rosso Toscana IGT is a classic Tuscan red blend produced by Marchesi Antinori, one of Italy's most historic and prestigious wine families. This wine is a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot grapes, crafted to express the typicity of Tuscany in a soft, enveloping, and modern style.

Each grape variety is fermented separately after destemming and gentle crushing. Maceration on the skins takes place in stainless steel vats over approximately one week, with fermentation at a controlled temperature not exceeding 25°C (77°F). Malolactic fermentation is completed by fall, and the wine is aged for about four months before bottling.

The wine presents an intense ruby red color with purple shimmer. On the nose it is fragrant with notes of cherries, plums, and hibiscus, along with scents of raspberry, black cherry, green tea, and spice. The palate is fresh and fruity with lovely floral aromas and flavors, medium body, subtle tannins, refreshing acidity, and a salty, lingering finish. It pairs well with beef, venison, pasta with red sauces, and aged cheeses.
