Ruffino Riserva Ducale is a flagship Chianti from Tuscany, Italy, first produced in 1927 as a tribute to the Duke of Aosta, who designated Ruffino as his royal wine supplier after discovering the wine's exceptional quality. Bottled as a Chianti DOCG, this classic Italian red is a benchmark for the style and consistently appears on restaurant wine lists worldwide for its reliability and elegance.

The wine is crafted from 80% Sangiovese complemented by Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and other complementary grapes, grown in clay and limestone soils enriched by galestro, the characteristic schist of the Chianti Classico zone. After fermentation, it is aged for 24 months in large oak casks and stainless steel vats before release, lending complexity while preserving the wine's vibrant fruit character.
