Zaha El Corte is a premium Argentinean red blend produced by Bodega TeHo under the direction of co-winemakers Alejandro "Colo" Sejanovich and Jeff Mausbach. "El Corte" is Spanish for "The Blend," and the 2022 vintage is composed of 78% Malbec and 22% Cabernet Sauvignon, sourced from the celebrated Toko Vineyard in Paraje Altamira, Valle de Uco, Mendoza, Argentina.
The vineyards sit at approximately 4,000 feet of elevation, benefiting from a cool high-altitude microclimate where sunny days develop deep fruit character and cold mountain nights preserve natural acidity and freshness. The diverse soils of Paraje Altamira — limestone, rocky, sandy, and silty patches — impart distinct aromatic and flavor complexity, earning the region recognition as an "Argentine First Growth" by Master of Wine Tim Atkin.
The wine presents a deep purple color with a spicy nose and medium-plus to full body. Flavors of red berry, cherry, and plum are complemented by herbal notes and hints of toast and mocha on the finish. Rated 93 points by Wine Advocate. Alcohol is 14%. Decanting is highly recommended to allow the wine's aromatic complexity to fully develop.
