Kirkland Signature Old Vine Zinfandel is a California red wine produced from vines that average 45 years of age in Sonoma County. This medium-bodied Zinfandel showcases the expressive fruit flavors with vibrant energy and soft ripe tannins that come from historic vineyards growing Zinfandel for over a century. The wine pours a medium purple with fresh dark fruit aromas of ripe black cherry, bramble, licorice, leather, spice, vanilla and dried fruit notes.

The palate delivers jammy blackberry, black cherry, blueberry, cranberry and plum flavors with bright fruit framed by baking spice and integrated oak. You'll find plenty of licorice along with leathery spice and vanilla in this flavorful and nicely balanced wine. It finishes with lingering ripe fruit, leather and spice on a mouth-watering finish.

This classic Old Vine Zinfandel has opaque shades of deep red-purple fruit with a bouquet and palate structure of blackberry, cassis, blueberry and chocolate, supported by vanilla and spice notes from oak maturation.
