Bengay Ultra Strength is a non-greasy topical pain relieving cream that temporarily relieves minor aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with simple backache, arthritis, strains, bruises, and sprains. This package contains two 4-ounce tubes for a total of 8 ounces of cream.

The formula contains three active pain-relieving ingredients: camphor 4%, menthol 10%, and methyl salicylate 30%. These counterirritants work by causing the skin to feel cool and then warm, while methyl salicylate acts as an anti-inflammatory agent to help reduce inflammation and swelling. The cream penetrates deeply to provide relief for back pain, arthritis pain, and other minor aches.

Adults and children 12 years of age and older should apply to affected area not more than 3 to 4 times daily. For external use only. Do not apply to wounds, damaged skin, or use with heating pads. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. Discontinue use if condition worsens after 7 days or if excessive skin irritation develops. Inactive ingredients include carbomer, disodium EDTA, glyceryl stearate SE, lanolin, polysorbate 80, potassium hydroxide, stearic acid, triethanolamine, and water.
