CaviCide is a convenient, ready-to-use intermediate-level surface disinfectant and cleaner manufactured by Metrex Research. The 1-gallon size requires no dilution and is ideal for high-volume settings such as medical, dental, and clinical facilities.

CaviCide contains a quaternary ammonium compound with 17% isopropyl alcohol, providing broad-spectrum antimicrobial effectiveness without the use of toxic glutaraldehyde, corrosive phenols, or bleach. It kills TB in 3 minutes and eliminates HBV, HCV, HIV-1, MRSA, and VRE in 2 minutes. The formula also meets EPA List N requirements for efficacy against SARS-CoV-2 on hard, non-porous surfaces.

Safe for use on plastics, stainless steel, chrome, plexiglass, painted surfaces, and most medical device materials. It satisfies OSHA's Bloodborne Pathogen Standard and is effective at cleaning and decontaminating both environmental surfaces and semi-critical instrumentation.
