Lagavulin 16 Year Old is a premium Islay single malt Scotch whisky distilled on the Scottish island of Islay and aged for sixteen years in oak casks, including refill sherry casks. This flagship expression from Lagavulin Distillery is celebrated for its remarkably balanced character, with dry and assertive flavors offset by the sweetness of sherry oak maturation.

The whisky delivers a complex, full-bodied experience combining smoky peat character with a distinctive salty sea tang. The aroma is unmistakably smoky with hints of pine, cedar, and a suggestion of sea air or brine. On the palate, the mouthfeel is smooth and luxurious with flavors of oak, peat, and subtle notes of fruit and hazelnut. The long finish features campfire smoke with touches of cherry or cherrywood.
