Star Jasmine (Trachelospermum jasminoides) is an evergreen woody vine prized for its glossy dark green foliage and intensely fragrant white pinwheel-shaped flowers that bloom from late spring into summer. This 3.2-gallon plant is pre-trained in an espalier form, making it ideal for mounting flat against walls, fences, or trellises to create a refined, fragrant vertical garden feature. The espalier format allows the vine to cover large surfaces efficiently while keeping a clean, architectural silhouette year-round.

Star Jasmine thrives in full sun to part shade in fertile, well-drained soil. Once established, it is moderately drought tolerant and resistant to deer, making it a low-maintenance choice for warm-climate gardens. It is hardy in USDA Zones 8–10 and has received the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit. The plant's twining stems can reach 10–20 feet with support, and its dense evergreen growth provides excellent coverage for privacy screens, courtyard walls, and sheltered garden areas.

To establish the plant, water regularly until roots are set, then water deeply as needed.
