La Poussie Sancerre Blanc is a classic white wine from the Sancerre appellation in the Loire Valley, France, produced by Baron Patrick de Ladoucette under the Maisons Marques & Domaines portfolio. The wine is crafted entirely from Sauvignon Blanc grapes grown on the celebrated La Poussie vineyard in Bué, widely regarded as one of the most prestigious sites in Sancerre. The vineyard is set in a magnificent natural amphitheater atop clay and limestone soils, which impart the wine's characteristic minerality and structure.
This 750ml bottle offers a pale straw-colored wine with a pronounced aromatic profile of citrus fruits — lemon, grapefruit, and lime — alongside green apple, gooseberry, and delicate herbaceous notes. On the palate, it delivers vibrant acidity with flavors of citrus, green apple, pear, and white peach, finishing clean and dry. The wine carries approximately 12.5% ABV and earned 91 points from Wine Spectator for the 2022 vintage.
