The Carnation CR2300 is a bank-grade bill counter designed for businesses with low to medium cash volumes. It counts currency at 1,000 bills per minute with a front-loading feeder tray that holds up to 200 banknotes and a hopper capacity of 500 notes. The front-loading design minimizes jams and keeps operation smooth, while the machine automatically performs a system self-test each time it powers on.
The CR2300 features a three-way counterfeit detection system using Ultra-Violet (UV), Magnetic ink (MG), and Infra-Red (IR) scanning technologies. When a suspicious bill is detected, the machine stops and beeps, leaving the questionable note at the top of the stacker for easy review. Sensitivity levels for each detection mode are adjustable to suit different counting environments and bill conditions.
Operating functions include BATCH mode for counting out preset equal quantities of bills and ADD mode for accumulating totals across multiple counting sessions. An LCD display shows the count, batch number, and accumulation totals at a glance, and an external display port allows a customer-facing view when needed. The counter operates on 100-230V power for international compatibility and is available in red. Package includes three bill detector pens for portable on-the-go counterfeit verification, a cleaning brush, and a power cable. Carnation recommends cleaning all sensors and the magnetic head with the brush at least once per week for optimal performance.
