The Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller is Nintendo's premium wireless controller designed exclusively for the Nintendo Switch 2 system. It features an ergonomic design with slightly slimmer grips compared to its predecessor, enlarged face buttons for improved comfort, and exceptionally smooth analog sticks that eliminate the grinding feel of earlier models.

The controller includes HD Rumble 2 for enhanced haptic feedback, motion controls with built-in accelerometers and gyroscopes, and built-in amiibo functionality by touching figures to the Nintendo logo area. New additions include a dedicated C Button for accessing the GameChat menu for in-game voice and video chat, programmable GL/GR back buttons that can be mapped to any button function on a game-by-game basis, and a 3.5mm headphone jack for wired audio connectivity.

The battery provides approximately 40 hours of gameplay on a full charge, with charging taking about 3.5 hours via the included USB-C cable. The controller features digital triggers (ZL/ZR), an improved D-pad with reduced sensitivity issues, and a matte black and white finish.
