Lagarde Primeras Viñas Malbec is a premium expression from Bodega Lagarde, one of Mendoza's oldest and most respected wineries, established in 1897 and managed by the Pescarmona family since 1970. Sold as a case of six bottles (750 ml each), this wine represents the best of Argentine Malbec craftsmanship.

Primeras Viñas, meaning "first vineyards," is Lagarde's homage to Mendoza's rich winemaking legacy. The grapes are sourced from exceptional old-vine parcels in Luján de Cuyo—Mendoza's premier sub-appellation—including vineyards with vines planted as early as 1906. This deep root history delivers remarkable concentration, complexity, and a true sense of terroir in every bottle.

This 100% Malbec is aged 16 to 18 months in 500-liter French oak barrels with a light toast, followed by an additional 12 months of bottle maturation under controlled conditions. The extended aging results in a wine of impressive depth and elegance, with characteristic dark cherry and plum fruit, smooth fine-grained tannins, and a long, polished finish.
