Sunbeckia is a Rudbeckia hirta hybrid series bred in Germany by Hartwig Bull of Bull Breeding, known for its large flower size and long-lasting blooms. The series features cheerful yellow blooms with strong, sturdy stems and excellent branching. Plant height is approximately 14 to 16 inches, and the variety requires no pinching, flowering from spring through fall.

Sunbeckia is hardy to USDA Zones 7 through 10 and tolerates temperatures down to 30-32°F. It thrives in full sun with well-drained soil at a pH of 5.5 to 6.0. Keep the soil consistently moist and fertilize weekly with a balanced fertilizer. The plants are not sensitive to powdery mildew, though gardeners should watch for aphids and spider mites in warm, dry conditions.
